Dr. C. Shane Hume is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in adult cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spinal disorders. He uses a multidisciplinary approach to diagnose and treat spinal conditions, with a focus on developing a comprehensive treatment plan for each patient.

Whenever appropriate, Dr. Hume begins with proven nonsurgical treatment options. Surgery is reserved for patients with specific spinal conditions that have not responded to conservative treatment. When surgery is necessary, he uses minimally invasive techniques to address the condition and help patients regain their quality of life.
