Dr. Shehan Abeyewardene is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hand and wrist surgery. He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Oklahoma, completed his residency at Spectrum Health/Michigan State University, and his fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the University of Buffalo. His clinical interests include endoscopic carpal tunnel release, wrist arthroscopy, rheumatoid hand deformity, and fracture repair.
